The FIRM product is a web-based productivity application that allows bond traders to more effectively manage the publication of their fixed income offerings and bids and to aggregate order flow from all of the connected trading venues into a single easy-to-use order blotter.
Positions can be maintained directly in the familiar spreadsheet-like interface, or imported from a variety of common file formats (Microsoft Excel, CSV, etc.). When a quantity or price is changed on a quote within the interface, it is immediately published to all of the enabled trading destinations and updated. Orders placed on the ECNs or ATSs against published quotes are routed back to the FIRM order blotter where they can be printed or exported.
